Part-time jobs retirees:
Basically, in many countries when a person reaches the retire age and takes his retirement, he receives a sum of money from his workplace. This is known as the lump sum. It is a one time money payment, as opposed to a multiple smaller payments. 
However in some countries not all businesses allow for this payment. These people might face some struggles to meet their needs as they no longer work and some may not even get the lump sum, they receive only a small pension from the government. This money may not be sufficient enough if ones facing health problems.
Consultant:
A retired person can also for a part time job in a library. Although working as a bookkeeper, the salary is not much but enough to satisfy the basic needs.
Retirement is age of 65 so the person has enough experience to be able to share his experiences or to encourage our youngsters by giving them motivational advises. The income of a consultant is quite high which makes it able to lead a decent and high class lifestyle. However it is a job which demands requires lots of patience and understanding, especially if dealing with a group of youngsters.
If not a consultant, one could always open her, own retail business if ever she owns inventories of valuables. Retail is always hiring, especially around the holidays. If you’re not looking to commit to a long-term position, consider a holiday season retail job. You may be able to schedule your hours based on your availability, and many retailers offer discounts and other perks to employees.
School Jobs options:
Furthermore when you’re interested in working with children and want to work on your schedule, consider a job as a substitute teacher or aide. At many schools districts you don’t need a degree in education to get hired.
Once you’re hired, you’ll be able to choose to accept an assignment based on your availability. In addition to teacher positions there are many other school job options which include food service and cafeteria positions, bus drivers and monitors, and administrative jobs.
Babysitting:
In today’s time, many parents especially working parents do not have enough time to look after their children and thus hired mainly part time nannies at a reasonably wage to do so. I feel like there are many retired people who actually take up these jobs. As babysitting kids can be both fun and tiring also however it gives each other the company needed. On the same line of work, childcare services can also be taken up, the only thing that differentiate it from home babysitting is that childcare services are on a more professional level.
Once you’ve decided what you want to do there are a variety of ways to find a job. You can search job sites to find jobs to apply for use keywords that match the type of job you’re looking for and add the location where you are interested in working to get the best results.
